Eigent

An open-source desktop application for running a local, multi-agent AI workforce, built on the CAMEL-AI framework, as a self-hosted alternative to closed cowork agent products.

Eigent

Eigent is an open-source desktop application for building, managing and deploying a custom AI workforce that turns a complex workflow into automated tasks. It is built on the CAMEL-AI open-source project and introduces a multi-agent workforce that runs tasks in parallel.

It supports a single-agent mode for focused tasks with one meta agent, as well as multi-agent coordination for more complex workflows, and is model agnostic, so it can be pointed at any supported model. It includes Model Context Protocol integration, skill integration, and built-in browser and terminal toolkits, and can run entirely locally for privacy, in addition to an optional cloud-connected mode.

Enterprise features add single sign-on and access control. It is written in TypeScript and released under the Apache 2.0 license.
