# Engineering Workflow Skills

A set of Agent Skills that carry a change from a vague idea through scoping, architecture, development, review, testing, and documentation, with state kept in files rather than a chat session.

Engineering Workflow Skills is a set of Agent Skills that take a change from an idea to shipped, verified, documented code, for any AI coding agent. Each skill covers one phase of the workflow and only the phases a change needs are run, in any order: scope turns an idea into a living, coarse scope; audit writes the AGENTS.md context files the other skills read; architect records a load-bearing decision as a build spec; develop builds the feature from its spec; check verifies a change by running the real app or by a second-model code review; test writes a test suite for the change; document writes the PR text, changelog, or release note from the real diff; sync keeps the scope and spec statuses current; and debug finds and fixes a bug's root cause.

Because state lives in files such as a scope, specs, and AGENTS.md rather than in a chat session, work survives across sessions and can be picked up by a whole team. It installs through the skills package for Claude Code or a generic agents/skills directory.
