# EUI-NEO

A cross-platform, high-performance C++17 GPU UI framework with GLFW/SDL2 window backends and OpenGL/Vulkan rendering, for building native application interfaces.

EUI-NEO is a low-overhead C++17 UI framework for building cross-platform native application interfaces, with a choice of GLFW or SDL2 for windowing and OpenGL or Vulkan for rendering. A project adds it as a CMake subdirectory, links the eui::neo target, and calls a configuration function that wires up the entry point, executable settings and runtime assets, or consumes it as a prebuilt SDK via find_package.

It documents its own DSL for building UI, plus components, modules, state model, layout, events, animation, async support, and its render backend and retained-layer-cache architecture. Optional feature modules extend the core framework.

It requires CMake 3.14 or later and a C++17 compiler, and builds on Windows, Linux and macOS. Its own code is Apache 2.0 licensed; bundled third-party code and assets keep their own licenses.
