eve

A filesystem-first framework for building durable AI agents, keeping an agent's instructions, tools and configuration in conventional project files so it is easy to inspect, extend and operate.

eve

eve scaffolds a new agent with npx eve@latest init my-agent, which installs dependencies, initializes Git, and starts an interactive terminal UI; passing a path instead adds eve to an existing project.

An agent's instructions live in a plain agent/instructions.md file, custom tools are defined in files under agent/tools/ with a defineTool helper and a Zod input schema, and the model is chosen in agent/agent.ts with defineAgent. It supports human-in-the-loop prompts, subagents and schedules.

It is written in TypeScript, ships its own documentation inside the installed package so a coding agent can read it locally, is currently in beta under Vercel's beta terms, and is licensed under Apache-2.0.

    recurse.run

A serverless harness that lets a coding agent design, test, and deploy its own specialist sub-agents as tools, MCP servers, or bots, defined by a schema-validated manifest.

  • ProofForge

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
