Everything Kiro

A collection of configurations for the Kiro IDE — agents, hooks, steering files, powers and skills — documented against Kiro's current schemas, covering AGENTS.md, permissions and hook triggers.

Everything Kiro

Everything Kiro is a reference collection of Kiro IDE configuration files kept in sync with how Kiro actually behaves at each release. It documents steering files, Markdown instructions in .kiro/steering loaded based on frontmatter such as always, file-match or manual inclusion, and AGENTS.md files that give Kiro directory-scoped conventions and restrictions which merge from parent to child directories.

It also documents Kiro's versioned JSON hooks, which fire on triggers such as session start, file save or agent-driven file changes and can block an operation by exiting with a specific status code, and its capability-based permissions system, which replaced the older trusted-commands and command-denylist model and is configured through YAML files at user or workspace scope.

  • Provenance gate

    github.com

A deterministic authorization gateway that sits between an AI agent and its tools, tracing where each parameter of a side-effect call came from, and blocking the call or asking a human when the source does not check out.

  • A markdown framework of system rules that restates Isaac Asimov's Four Laws of Robotics as a set of prioritized loss calculations for large-language-model agents to follow, published as a discovery file for agents and crawlers to read.

  • Vitruvius

    github.com

An engineering research agent that runs a discover, read, synthesize, verify and review loop over technical questions, reading sources directly rather than inferring from titles, and publishing its own scored verifier benchmark, weaknesses included.
