FinGPT

FinGPT is an open-source financial large language model project developed and maintained by the AI4Finance Foundation. It packages financial sentiment analysis, financial forecasting and other finance-specific large language model tooling, along with the research behind them.

Released artifacts include FinGPT-Forecaster, a financial forecasting model with an online demo, and financial multi-task and sentiment-analysis models produced while benchmarking base LLMs on financial data, all published on Hugging Face. Related papers cover instruction tuning for financial datasets, retrieval-augmented financial sentiment analysis, and democratizing internet-scale financial data for LLMs.

It installs by cloning the repository and installing its Python requirements, and is written mainly as Jupyter notebooks under the MIT license.
