# Flow-Next

Flow-Next is a workflow layer that runs inside AI coding agents, turning a request into a durable spec, an implementation by a fresh-context worker, and a review by a different model family before opening a pull request with its own evidence.

Flow-Next runs inside a coding agent such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, Factory Droid, xAI Grok Build or OpenCode. Given a bug report, a feature request, a performance target or a refactor, it picks a pipeline for that kind of work, captures a spec with numbered acceptance criteria under a `.flow/` folder in the repository, and builds it.

Every handover is reviewed by a different model family than the one that produced it, so the model that wrote a diff never reviews it. Each stage of a run prints whether it ran, was skipped, or failed, and an explain mode reports the route a request would take without making changes. An unattended auto mode can also babysit CI and review threads and merge the resulting pull request once checks and reviews allow it.

Specs, decisions, task state and receipts are stored as plain files in the repository and remain readable without Flow-Next installed.
