flutter-pi

A lightweight Flutter engine embedder for Raspberry Pi and other Linux devices that runs without X11 or Wayland, for booting straight into a Flutter app from the command line.

flutter-pi

flutter-pi embeds the Flutter engine on Raspberry Pi and similar Linux boards so a Flutter app can run directly from the command line, without booting into a desktop environment or loading X11/Wayland. It requires hardware 3D acceleration with kernel modesetting (KMS) and direct rendering infrastructure (DRI) support, and an ARMv7, ARMv8, x86 or x86-64 CPU.

Flutter apps that use only pure-Dart packages run as-is; packages that include platform-specific plugin code need their platform side built separately for flutter-pi. A companion flutterpi_tool package simplifies building the app.

It is tested on Raspberry Pi 2, 3, 4 and Pi Zero 2 (W), and does not work on the original Pi Zero or Pi 1.
