Forge

An open-source, self-hosted visual builder for AI agents and workflows, wiring tools, knowledge and logic on a canvas and deploying to email, an API, an MCP server, or an embeddable web widget.

Forge

Forge is built on the MIT-licensed LangChain v1 and LangGraph v1 frameworks, and everything it orchestrates runs on the user's own infrastructure rather than a third-party orchestration service. Agents, tools, knowledge and logic are wired together on a visual canvas and grounded in the operator's own data and systems.

Tools can be registered as REST, GraphQL, code, SQL or MCP calls and tested live against real inputs, with a response-projection step that trims payloads before they reach the model and an SSRF guard screening every outbound call. It requires no external infrastructure for local development, running on SQLite and an embedded Chroma database with an in-process scheduler, and can be switched to Postgres, pgvector and Redis for production. Every run is recorded as a span with tokens, latency and cost.

It is written in Python.

    recurse.run

A serverless harness that lets a coding agent design, test, and deploy its own specialist sub-agents as tools, MCP servers, or bots, defined by a schema-validated manifest.

  • ProofForge

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
