# Free AI Models

A daily-updated, automatically generated list of every currently free LLM API, ranked by a quality score and checked for live availability, pulled from OpenRouter, Pollinations AI and other public sources.

Free AI Models tracks free-tier language models as the landscape changes week to week, recording each model's ID, provider, context window, maximum output, supported modalities, known rate limit, source, and whether it answers text or another modality such as image or audio.

A GitHub Actions workflow refreshes the list every 24 hours, scoring each model with a separate ranking service and probing a production health check to mark it up, degraded or dead. The raw, machine-readable data is published alongside the human-readable list so it can be used to build custom routing logic on top of it.

It is written in JavaScript and MIT licensed.
