Friday

A private, local-first control plane that routes a goal across multiple bring-your-own-key AI models, checks that each step actually finished, and pauses for approval before anything risky.

Friday

Friday is a local kernel that takes a goal, routes each step of the work to an AI model the user already pays for, such as Codex, Claude or DeepSeek, checks that the model actually did what it claimed rather than accepting a bare confirmation, remembers what it was told, and pauses before anything risky until the user approves it. Cheaper models handle planning while more capable ones handle heavier work, functioning like a metered crew.

If a goal is vague, Friday asks what the user meant instead of guessing, and it can hand a job to one model for coding while only involving a second model for synthesis once the first has proven its work is done. It runs from source on macOS with Node.js 22 or newer, keeps keys, data and memory on the user's own machine, and currently ships a setup script rather than a packaged release.

  • Recurse

    recurse.run

A serverless harness that lets a coding agent design, test, and deploy its own specialist sub-agents as tools, MCP servers, or bots, defined by a schema-validated manifest.

  • ProofForge

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
