GenAI Course

A four-month, hands-on study roadmap for generative AI engineering, moving through large-language-model fundamentals, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents and tool calling toward production deployment.

GenAI Course

GenAI Course is a self-directed study roadmap for learning generative AI engineering over four months, structured as monthly topics with goals and, in some months, a project to build. The first month covers large-language-model fundamentals: tokens, context windows, generation parameters, message roles and prompt engineering techniques such as zero-shot and few-shot prompting.

The second month moves into embeddings, vector databases, document processing and retrieval-augmented generation, with a project to build a production-oriented RAG application through a documented pipeline from ingestion to answer. The third month covers AI agents, tool calling, tool registries, argument validation, multi-tool and parallel execution, and agent memory and state management, continuing toward production concerns such as observability, security and deployment covered later in the roadmap.
