Generative AI Use Cases (GenU)

An AWS sample application, built on Bedrock, SageMaker and Lambda, that implements a set of ready-to-use generative AI business use cases such as chat, summarization, meeting minutes and translation.

Generative AI Use Cases (GenU)

Generative AI Use Cases, or GenU, is a well-architected sample application that packages common generative AI business use cases into one deployable product. Provided use cases include a general chat interface for testing prompts, text generation for articles, reports and emails, summarization with follow-up question answering over supplied context, meeting-minutes generation from audio or real-time transcription in transcript, newspaper or FAQ styles, writing feedback beyond typo correction, translation with contextual detail such as tone and audience, image generation, and web content extraction.

It is built on AWS services, including Bedrock, SageMaker and Lambda, with a React and TypeScript frontend, and supports models such as Claude, Mistral, Command R, Llama 3, DeepSeek-R1 and Nova. Individual use cases can be hidden if not needed, and the project has supported multiple languages, including Japanese and Korean, since version 4. It is released under the MIT-0 license.
