Getting Started with Strands Agents - Complete Learning Path

A four-course, hands-on learning path, with free accompanying videos, for building AI agents with AWS's Strands Agents framework from fundamentals through production deployment.

Getting Started with Strands Agents - Complete Learning Path

This repository is a structured, four-course learning path for building AI agents with the Strands Agents framework, with free video series available for each course. Course 1 covers fundamentals: basic agent creation, model providers, AWS integration, MCP basics, agent-to-agent communication, and observability. Course 2 goes further into MCP, persistent memory, hooks, and session management for production-ready implementations.

Course 3 covers building multi-agent systems that coordinate using swarm, graph-based, and agents-as-tools patterns, and Course 4 covers production deployment on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime for serverless scaling. Each course has its own directory with lab-based exercises, and the whole path is estimated to take five to six hours to complete. It is licensed under MIT-0 and provided as an AWS sample.
