ggui

An open protocol and reference runtime that lets an AI agent generate an interactive user interface on demand over MCP, instead of the agent describing options in text.

ggui

ggui is an open protocol and reference runtime for generating interactive user interfaces on demand. An agent describes in natural language what it needs, and ggui renders an ephemeral, interactive interface over the Model Context Protocol, with no frontend code or custom components written in advance.

The project can be self-hosted and paired with any MCP-aware client, including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, claude.ai and Cursor, without an account or managed infrastructure. Browser-based clients on origins other than localhost must be explicitly allowlisted. It is pre-1.0 and still changing between releases, written in TypeScript, and Apache-2.0 licensed.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
