git-bug

A distributed, offline-first bug tracker stored entirely inside a Git repository, syncing through ordinary Git remotes and bridging to other issue trackers.

git-bug

git-bug is a bug tracker fully integrated into Git: a project's bugs live in its own Git repository, so tracking them needs no separate service, works offline, and is backed up wherever the repository is cloned. Listing or opening bugs is fast, and no extra files are added to the tracked project.

Bugs are pushed and pulled between Git remotes with git bug push and git bug pull, in the same way as code, and the tool can be used through its CLI or through a GraphQL API for other tooling. Bridges let it import from and export to other bug trackers, and a web UI is in progress for accepting external contributions through OAuth.
