GitFut

A tool that turns a GitHub profile's public activity into a World-Cup-style football player card, computed live from GitHub's GraphQL API and embeddable by URL.

GitFut

GitFut reads six signals from a public GitHub profile through GitHub's GraphQL API, recent commits, how many people favorited their repositories, pull requests and followers, language diversity, reviews and issues, and lifetime contributions, and maps each to a football attribute such as pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending, and physical. An overall rating and a playing position and archetype are derived from the resulting stat shape, and a card is available as a live PNG image or a full scout report page, re-scouting itself automatically as the underlying stats change.

Standout profiles can earn trophies tied to specific years or World Cup editions, shown on the report and referenced in duels comparing two cards. A card can be embedded anywhere a URL or image works, such as a GitHub profile README, and its country flag can be overridden with a query parameter.
