GitHub Copilot Hands-on - lab setup

This repository holds the lab setup instructions for a hands-on GitHub Copilot training course. It walks a learner through configuring a GitHub Codespaces environment, pre-installed with Copilot, that is used to run the course's labs, and notes where a learner's own IDE can substitute for the Codespace.

It covers checking Copilot settings, extending the Codespace idle timeout, and creating the codespace itself, along with notes on what the free tier of Copilot does and does not support, since some labs need a paid plan for model selection. It is written in Python.
