Go Micro

An agent harness and service framework for Go that lets a developer describe a capability in conversation, generate a Go service for it, and use that service as a tool from the same agent.

Go Micro

Go Micro is an agent harness and service framework for Go. Its CLI starts a conversation in which a developer describes a capability they need; when that capability is missing, the agent generates a Go service for it, compiles and starts it, discovers its endpoints as tools, and then uses that service in the same conversation, with the generated source left for the developer to inspect and change.

Service discovery, RPC, messaging and storage connect the pieces, agents use service endpoints as tools, and workflows coordinate ordered steps with saved checkpoints; each component is pluggable. Once a project is generated, a separate run command continues developing it with hot reload, an API gateway and a console, or a developer can write agents and services directly in Go and run them in their own binaries.

It requires Go 1.25 or newer and installs with a single Go install command. It is licensed under the Apache-2.0 license.
