Gonzo

A Go-based terminal UI for real-time log analysis, inspired by k9s, with AI-powered insights and native OpenTelemetry log support.

Gonzo

Gonzo processes log streams as they arrive from standard input, files, or the network, with native integration for streaming pod logs directly from a Kubernetes cluster and first-class support for the OpenTelemetry log format, including a built-in gRPC server that receives logs over OTLP. It automatically detects JSON, logfmt, and plain-text formats, or a custom format can be defined with YAML configuration, and tracks severity with color-coded distribution charts.

Its k9s-inspired terminal dashboard shows real-time charts for word frequency, attributes, severity, and time, supports both keyboard and mouse navigation, and can pause the whole dashboard while continuing to buffer logs in the background. Pressing a key from any view launches a companion local, browser-based dashboard with workspaces, pattern detection, and severity heatmaps built on the same underlying log stream. It is written in Go and MIT licensed.
