# Google Workspace MCP Server

A feature-complete MCP server that gives AI assistants full natural-language control over Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Tasks, Contacts and Chat, with multi-user OAuth.

Google Workspace MCP Server gives AI assistants and developer tools full natural-language control over Google Calendar, Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Tasks, Contacts and Chat through any MCP client, plus a command-line interface and a code mode for tools such as Claude Code and Codex. It connects all twelve major Workspace services through a single server, exposing over 120 tools behind native OAuth 2.1, stateless deployment, and support for fronting it with an external auth server or gateway.

It supports both free Google accounts and Workspace plans, with expanded app options such as Chat and Spaces, three progressive tool tiers, a read-only mode, and both local stdio operation for legacy clients and remote streamable HTTP for the current MCP specification. By default it sends no data anywhere except Google's own APIs, on the authenticated user's behalf using their own OAuth client credentials, with no usage reporting, analytics or license server outside optional OpenTelemetry support.

It is written in Python and released under the MIT license.
