HomeRail
A TypeScript runtime that turns one-off agent chats into auditable, replayable DAG workflows for a homelab or home server, driven primarily by voice.
HomeRail is a TypeScript runtime for running agent work as an inspectable, replayable directed acyclic graph instead of a single black-box chat session. It is meant to run on a person's own homelab, NAS or home server, and its name reflects that design: Home for where it runs, Rail for the track-shaped DAG along which agent work flows from node to node.
Today's foundation includes a DAG engine with multi-agent orchestration, per-run workspace isolation, replay, scorecards and run evaluation; a CLI (hr) with commands such as start, config, doctor, run, smoke, dag supervise, scorecard, eval-run and replay; and a voice surface with automatic speech recognition, text-to-speech and voice activity detection, Chinese by default, that collects a person's intent across turns before acting. A generative interface that produces structured, at-a-glance views instead of logs or JSON is still being designed.
The longer-term goal is a resident home-datacenter agent operated mostly by voice, with a generated interface and a DAG of agents doing the work behind it.
