Hugging Face Official MCP Server is Hugging Face's own Model Context Protocol server, connecting an LLM client to the Hugging Face Hub and thousands of Gradio AI applications hosted on it.

It installs into Claude Desktop or claude.ai, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, VS Code or Cursor, either through a one-click connector, a CLI command, or a manual configuration entry pointing at Hugging Face's hosted MCP endpoint with a bearer token. Once installed, the tools and Spaces it exposes are configured from a settings page on the Hugging Face website.

An option strips image-content blocks from Gradio-served tools when a client would rather not receive them.
