iappyxOS

An Android app that generates a real, installable APK on-device from a plain-language description, or from a website URL, injecting generated HTML/JS into a prebuilt WebView shell and giving it access to more than 30 native device bridges.

iappyxOS

iappyxOS builds Android apps entirely on the device: it takes a description, a template, or a URL, has an AI generate the HTML/JS for it, injects that into a prebuilt WebView shell APK, binary-patches the manifest with a unique package name, and signs the result on-device with the hardware-backed Android Keystore before installing it through the normal system installer.

Generated apps get access to 37 native bridge classes with more than 140 methods, covering camera, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, SSH/SFTP, SMB shares, HTTP and socket servers, notifications, biometrics, SQLite, contacts, SMS, calendar and home-screen widgets, among others, plus the ability to bundle data files that a generated app can read at build time.

AI generation can call an API directly, from Anthropic or OpenRouter, or be done by hand-copying prompts to any AI. Generated apps pass Google Play Protect scanning, and a sibling project, iappyxOS Launcher, runs the same widget HTML as a programmable Android home screen.
