# Invisible Playwright MCP

A browser automation agent, reachable over MCP or a standalone chat UI, that drives a stealth Firefox build to carry out web tasks such as checking flight prices across dates while aiming to avoid detection by anti-bot and captcha systems.

The tool acts as an MCP server for assistants such as Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI, or as a standalone local web UI where a user supplies an OpenRouter API key and chats with the agent while watching the live browser alongside it. Given an instruction such as checking a range of flight dates and reading the cheapest fare for each day, it moves the pointer and presses keys the way a person would rather than calling a page's underlying API directly, and can be told to use a calendar widget instead of typing dates.

Configurable options include an HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy, which also sets the timezone, locale and network egress to match; a persistent profile directory so logins and cookies survive restarts; a fixed random seed to keep the same browser identity across runs; and a headed mode to show the browser window. Settings can be supplied as command-line flags, environment variables, or a `.env` file read from the current directory, in that order of precedence; binding the local web UI to a non-default host exposes an interface with no authentication.

It is written in Python and licensed under the MIT license.
