# JADX MCP Server

A standalone server that connects a modified JADX Android decompiler to large language models over MCP, so an assistant can read decompiled app code and follow along during reverse engineering.

JADX MCP Server is a Python server that bridges a modified build of the jadx-gui Android decompiler, called JADX-AI-MCP, to AI assistants through the Model Context Protocol. It lets a model such as Claude read the live, decompiled context of an Android application: fetch a selected class's source, list all classes in a project, and read whatever text is currently selected in the decompiler.

The intended workflow is decompile, then context-aware code review, then AI-generated recommendations, all against the same live session rather than a static export. It is part of a wider Zin Reverse Engineering MCP Suite, which also includes a companion APKTool MCP server and an MCP client.

It is written in Python and is used for Android application security analysis, such as manifest inspection and vulnerability discovery.
