# Jauvex

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.

Jauvex is an Electron client for Claude Code, Codex and Grok Build coding-agent sessions on the Mac. A user adds a project folder, picks up any of its existing sessions or starts new ones with either provider, and talks to them through a voice channel that answers in three beats — a quick acknowledgment word, what it understood, and a summary of the agent's answer — so a working agent can be steered without interrupting it. Agents can be named and started by voice, and agents can talk to each other inside the app; TypeSafe's Jev model handles the fast routing decisions.

There is no server: the app window talks to Jauvex's own main process over IPC, and coding-agent sessions stay wherever Claude Code and Codex already keep them. The install command downloads and builds the app from source on the user's own Mac, verifying a checksum, so nothing prebuilt needs notarizing; the app checks its own site periodically for a newer version and can update itself once a user approves the update.

It requires Node 22.18 or newer, is written in TypeScript, and is released under the Apache-2.0 license.
