Java AI Engineer Fast Track

A four-layer, self-paced roadmap that takes a Java developer from programming fundamentals through JVM and Spring internals to an AI-engineering track built on Spring AI, RAG, agents and MCP.

Java AI Engineer Fast Track

This roadmap organizes learning into four layers: programming fundamentals such as Java syntax, OOP, collections and MySQL basics; Java engineering foundations covering the JVM, concurrency and Spring internals; backend engineering topics like distributed systems, microservices, Redis and message queues; and a final AI-engineer transition layer built around large language model basics, Spring AI, RAG, agents and MCP.

Each topic is annotated with a note on its relevance in an AI-assisted development era, and the material includes three navigation paths for beginners, working Java engineers, and Java engineers moving into AI work, along with runnable Spring AI demo code. It positions itself against general interview-prep guides by focusing on staged skill growth rather than isolated interview questions.
