# Jina

A fully generated C# SDK for the Jina API, covering embeddings, reranking and search, with Microsoft.Extensions.AI integration and support for .NET Framework, .NET Standard and modern .NET features such as trimming and NativeAOT.

This is a C# software development kit for the Jina API, generated automatically from Jina's official OpenAPI specification using a tool called AutoSDK, with same-day updates when Jina adds features and automatic regeneration when there are no breaking changes. It targets modern .NET as well as .NET Framework and .NET Standard 2.0, with support for nullable reference types, trimming and NativeAOT compilation.

It implements Microsoft.Extensions.AI's IEmbeddingGenerator interface, so it can be used as a drop-in embedding provider in applications built against that abstraction, in addition to its own client classes for creating embeddings and calling Jina's other search foundation model endpoints directly.
