# JS Reverse MCP

An MCP server for AI-assisted JavaScript reverse engineering that lets a coding assistant drive a real, visible Chrome instance: setting breakpoints, stepping through code, analyzing network and WebSocket traffic, and saving scripts and captured data to local files.

JS Reverse MCP is a Model Context Protocol server built for AI agents doing JavaScript reverse engineering, rather than a thin wrapper over the Chrome DevTools protocol. It reorganizes script inspection, breakpoints, network and WebSocket analysis, browser state and local file I/O into tools suited to an agent's continuous reasoning: listing and searching loaded scripts, saving and reformatting minified source, evaluating expressions and inspecting scope at a paused breakpoint, and exporting request stacks, headers, cookies and WebSocket messages to local files for replay and further analysis.

It runs a visible, persistent Chrome instance so cookies and local storage carry over between sessions, and it can clear a site's cookies, cache and storage to reproduce a cookie or anti-bot flow from scratch. Stealth is handled by an independently maintained fork of Patchright built specifically for this server, with an optional binary-level fingerprinting mode for sites with stronger anti-bot protection.

It runs as a local MCP server over npx, and connects to clients including Claude Code and Codex.
