JumpServer

An open-source privileged access management platform that gives DevOps and IT teams a single, audited workspace for accessing SSH, RDP, Kubernetes, databases and other systems.

JumpServer

JumpServer is an open-source privileged access management (bastion host) platform that gives DevOps and IT teams a unified workspace for secure access to SSH, RDP, Kubernetes, databases, websites, and remote or virtual applications, with AI-powered capabilities layered on top. It is installed on a clean 64-bit Linux server with at least 4 CPU cores and 8 GB of RAM using a single quick-start script, then managed through a web interface.

The project groups its components by role: core projects provide the platform, web interface, terminal, protocol connections and AI capabilities; enterprise components extend access to more applications and protocols; supporting services handle session recording transcoding and host operations; and deployment tools handle installation and web delivery.

Community edition components include a web interface, a web terminal and native client, a protocol connector and proxy, a database connector, and an AI component; some connectors for Windows and enterprise protocols are limited to or exclusive to the enterprise edition.
