Karrio

A self-hosted, open-source shipping platform that gives a single API and dashboard for rating, purchasing labels from, and tracking packages across many carriers, such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS.

Karrio

Karrio is an open-source platform for integrating with shipping carriers through one interface. It provides a multi-carrier API and SDK for querying rates, purchasing shipping labels, and creating package trackers, along with webhooks for shipment events and a dashboard for testing and visualizing shipping transactions.

It connects to carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, Canada Post, and Purolator, among others, normalizing their different APIs and credential requirements behind a consistent interface. The project describes shipping integration as typically hampered by poor documentation, inconsistent carrier APIs, and difficult access to test credentials, which Karrio aims to smooth over.

It runs as a self-hosted deployment using Docker Compose, with a one-line hobby-deploy script for a single Linux host, and is written in Python.
