KitOps

A CNCF open-source DevOps tool that packages and versions AI/ML models, datasets, code and configuration as a single OCI artifact, storable in any existing container registry.

KitOps

KitOps is a CNCF open-source tool for packaging, versioning and securely sharing AI/ML projects. It builds on the same OCI technology used by containers to bundle everything a model needs for development or production, code, datasets, configuration and the model itself, into one versioned, layered artifact stored in an existing container registry, integrating with common AI/ML, CI/CD and DevOps tooling.

It is the enterprise implementation of the CNCF ModelPack specification, a vendor-neutral AI/ML interchange format, and its kit CLI supports both the ModelKit and ModelPack formats. Typical use starts with importing a model from Hugging Face or running kit init in a project to generate a Kitfile, then using kit push and kit pull against a registry. It is written in Go under the Apache-2.0 license.
