KohakuTerrarium

KohakuTerrarium's core abstraction is the "creature," a standalone agent with its own controller, tools, sub-agents, triggers, memory and I/O; creatures are hosted by a "Terrarium" engine, a graph runtime that owns channels, lifecycle, output wiring, hot-plug and topology. Installing it and running kt install @kt-biome followed by kt run @kt-biome/creatures/swe --mode cli opens an interactive shell with a complete coding agent: file tools, shell access, web search, sub-agents and resumable sessions.

The same agent can be driven as a four-line Python library call instead of a CLI session, for batch jobs, bots or pipelines. The project frames itself as useful when a new agent shape is needed and rebuilding the underlying substrate, controller loop, tool dispatch, triggers, sub-agents, sessions and persistence, from scratch is not worthwhile, since existing agent products such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode and OpenClaw each reimplement that substrate independently.

It is not meant to replace an already-fitting agent product for stable needs, and is aimed at users who want to customize an agent's shape, drive agents from their own Python, or whose requirements are still evolving.

  • Recurse

    recurse.run

A serverless harness that lets a coding agent design, test, and deploy its own specialist sub-agents as tools, MCP servers, or bots, defined by a schema-validated manifest.

  • ProofForge

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
