lazyvec

A terminal UI for browsing, inspecting and pruning vector databases such as Qdrant, Pinecone and Chroma, without leaving the terminal.

lazyvec

lazyvec is a terminal user interface for working with vector databases. It connects to Qdrant (local or cloud), Pinecone (serverless) or Chroma (local or cloud) through a common adapter interface, so the same keybindings work across providers.

From the connection picker a user browses collections page by page, inspects record metadata and vectors, filters records with a key:value syntax, and runs a find-similar vector search from any selected record. Records can be deleted singly or in a visual range with confirmation, and IDs, metadata or vectors can be copied with vim-style key sequences. Table columns are inferred automatically from each collection's metadata schema, and connection secrets can be interpolated from environment variables in the TOML config file.

It installs as a prebuilt binary via a shell script or through npm.

A VRAM-aware GPU job scheduler for a single machine: declare how much memory each shell command needs, and it places jobs the moment a GPU has room and reports when a guess was wrong.
