Leopard

An on-device speech-to-text engine SDK from Picovoice that runs entirely locally across desktop, mobile and web platforms, with bindings for Python, C, iOS, Android, Node.js, Flutter, React Native, Java, .NET and the browser.

Leopard

Leopard transcribes audio without sending it to a server, running on Linux, macOS, Windows, Android, iOS, Raspberry Pi 3 through 5, and in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. It is described as private, accurate, and compact and computationally efficient.

Deployment requires an AccessKey, obtained from the Picovoice Console, which authenticates and authorizes use of Picovoice SDKs and enforces account usage limits; validating an AccessKey needs internet connectivity even though transcription itself runs fully offline.

It supports English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish out of the box, with additional languages available to commercial customers on request, and ships demo applications for each supported platform and language binding.
