LiveContext

A self-hosted AI automation platform that builds a readable workflow, scoped AI agents and a small internal app from a single chat description, positioned as an alternative to n8n, Zapier and Make.

LiveContext

LiveContext is a self-hosted AI automation platform that turns a chat description of a job into a working automation: a workflow you can read, AI agents with scoped access and credit budgets, and a small app your team can use, all on one canvas. It combines what the maintainers describe as four separate categories of tool, a chatbot, an automation tool, an app builder and an agent framework, into one product.

Agents are scoped, budgeted and audited individually, each with its own model, tools, files and credit budget, and every run is logged with calls, tokens, success rate and duration per agent and per tool. Built-in data tables let workflows and agents read, write and enrich data without an external database.

This repository is the Community Edition: the full platform as a single self-hosted service, free to use in production inside an organization. It runs on Docker Engine 24 or newer with Compose v2, needs at least 4 GB of RAM with 8 GB recommended, and has an npm-based launcher requiring Node.js LTS.
