Mastering GitHub Copilot

A free, multi-module, ten-hour course teaching developers to use GitHub Copilot, including its Agent Mode, for prompting, planning, code generation, testing and iteration.

Mastering GitHub Copilot

Mastering GitHub Copilot is a multi-module, roughly ten-hour course covering GitHub Copilot as an AI peer-programming tool, including its Agent Mode, which the course describes as turning Copilot from a passive assistant into a proactive coding partner capable of autonomous code execution and workflow automation.

Learners fork the lessons into their own GitHub account to work through the material and its exercises at their own pace, and need an active GitHub Copilot subscription to follow along. Each lesson includes a written README-based lesson, a challenge or assignment, and links to further resources, organized into a progression of beginner and later lessons covering topics such as prompting and multi-step, natural-language-driven solutions.
