MATLAB Agent Skills

A Codex and Claude Code skills suite that turns MATLAB and Simulink into an agent-operable engineering workbench, packaging modeling, code generation, and validation workflows so every task ends with a runnable command and saved evidence.

MATLAB Agent Skills

MATLAB Agent Skills packages MATLAB, Simulink, and toolbox workflows as skills for Codex and Claude Code, built around one rule: every task an agent performs should end with a runnable command, captured logs, saved artifacts, and an explicit acceptance check. It routes a user's request to the right specialist skill and uses an official MATLAB MCP integration to control an existing or newly started MATLAB desktop session.

The project targets developers, researchers, and model-based engineering teams who want an agent to do real MATLAB and Simulink work, including tuning, validation, and code generation, rather than only writing plausible-looking script snippets. Its full capability depends on a licensed MATLAB installation and the relevant MathWorks toolboxes, though the repository itself can still be inspected and partially used without one.

  • Provenance gate

    github.com

A deterministic authorization gateway that sits between an AI agent and its tools, tracing where each parameter of a side-effect call came from, and blocking the call or asking a human when the source does not check out.

  • A markdown framework of system rules that restates Isaac Asimov's Four Laws of Robotics as a set of prioritized loss calculations for large-language-model agents to follow, published as a discovery file for agents and crawlers to read.

  • Vitruvius

    github.com

An engineering research agent that runs a discover, read, synthesize, verify and review loop over technical questions, reading sources directly rather than inferring from titles, and publishing its own scored verifier benchmark, weaknesses included.
