# MCP Bridge for Adobe Premiere Pro

MCP Bridge for Adobe Premiere Pro lets AI agents such as Codex, Claude Code and Claude Desktop operate a local Adobe Premiere Pro project directly, through more than 280 editing tools reachable over the Model Context Protocol.

This project exposes Adobe Premiere Pro editing operations as MCP tools: 283 tools accessible behind search and invoke calls, 13 context resources describing the current project, and 10 guided prompts, for use from Codex, Claude Code, Claude Desktop and other MCP clients. It installs a CEP panel bridge as an extension inside Premiere Pro itself; a separate UXP plugin exists only as an experimental preview and is not installed by the standard installer.

The command-line installer sets up the CEP bridge, enables the Adobe CEP debug setting Premiere requires, and configures any supported local MCP client it finds, with a companion diagnostic command that checks the server build, the CEP installation, the bridge directory, the debug setting and client configuration. After installing, a user opens the bridge panel inside Premiere and verifies the connection before editing; dedicated plugins bundle the same setup for Codex and Claude Code.

It requires Node.js 20 or later and Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 or later running on the same computer as the MCP client, and is written in TypeScript.
