# MCP Server for Odoo

An MCP server that lets AI assistants search, create, update, delete, and aggregate records in an Odoo ERP system through natural language, with a YOLO mode for quick testing against any Odoo instance.

MCP Server for Odoo lets AI assistants such as Claude interact with an Odoo ERP system: searching and retrieving records, creating and updating entries with field validation, deleting records under model-level permissions, counting and aggregating data, inspecting model fields, invoking business workflow actions such as posting an invoice, and fetching binary attachments.

It runs on the user's local computer, alongside Claude Desktop or another MCP client, connecting to a separate Odoo server over its API. A YOLO mode works with any standard Odoo installation without installing anything on the Odoo side, intended for quick testing and demos; production use with enterprise security and access controls requires installing a separate Odoo MCP module. It authenticates with an API key or username and password, and supports multiple languages in its responses.

It requires a recent Python version and the uv package manager, and is licensed under MPL-2.0.
