mecha

A Rust harness that turns a local, open-weight language model into a personal assistant with your context, your permissions, and a structurally safe way to reach the world.

mecha

mecha targets models running entirely on hardware the user owns. It gives the model memory, tool access and reach, while treating the combination of private data, untrusted content and the ability to send as a structural risk rather than something the model can simply be asked to handle carefully, so capabilities are enforced in code instead of being left to the model's judgment.

It is built as a provider-agnostic agent loop with MCP tool support, a path jail, a prompt-injection interlock, a sandboxed shell, scheduled triggers, and an evaluation rig that grades the agent's own trace.

It is written in Rust and ships as a CLI with a TUI.

    recurse.run

A serverless harness that lets a coding agent design, test, and deploy its own specialist sub-agents as tools, MCP servers, or bots, defined by a schema-validated manifest.

  • ProofForge

    shulgin.is-a.dev

An AI-agent pipeline that decomposes a mathematics problem, proves each piece, and formalizes the result in Lean 4 and Mathlib until the Lean kernel accepts it, with six of its proofs already merged into Google DeepMind's formal-conjectures repository.

  • local-coder

    github.com

Builds a local coding-agent team on top of Ollama and OpenCode by detecting the machine's hardware, recommending models for seven specialist roles, and testing whether each assigned model can actually use tools, edit a repository and pass verification.
