Microsoft Agent Framework Samples

A hands-on set of tutorials and code samples, in Python and .NET, for building agents with the Microsoft Agent Framework, covering tools, providers, RAG and multi-agent workflows.

Microsoft Agent Framework Samples

This repository is a step-by-step collection of tutorials and code samples for the Microsoft Agent Framework, organized into numbered directories that go from core concepts through building a first travel-planning agent, exploring different model providers and configurations, and integrating tools such as vision, code interpretation and Bing grounding.

Later sections cover the Model Context Protocol and agent-to-agent communication, retrieval-augmented generation with file search, orchestrating multiple agents together, and building agent workflows and pipelines. Most sections provide parallel examples in both Python and .NET.
