# Minuet

A Neovim plugin that provides AI-powered, as-you-type code completion from LLM providers such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Ollama, Llama.cpp and Codestral.

Minuet is a Neovim plugin for AI code completion. It supports two completion modes: specialized prompting for chat-based LLMs, and fill-in-the-middle completion for compatible models such as DeepSeek, Codestral and Qwen, and it streams completions so results can arrive even from slower models. Multi-line suggestions can be accepted incrementally, line by line, at the user's own pace.

It integrates as a source for `nvim-cmp`, `blink-cmp`, Neovim's built-in completion and `mini.completion`, and can also run as an in-process LSP server. It includes an experimental Duet mode for next-edit prediction based on recent edits. It is written in Lua under the GPL-3.0 license and requires no proprietary background process, only `curl` and the user's chosen LLM provider.
