MLX-LM-LoRA

MLX-LM-LoRA trains any model supported by MLX-LM, including Llama, Mistral, Qwen, Gemma, OLMo and MiniCPM, using LoRA, DoRA, full-precision training, or quantized QLoRA training at 4, 6 or 8 bits. Quantization-aware training applies a quantization projection during supervised fine-tuning, DPO or ORPO training so the model better matches its eventual quantized form.

Supported training algorithms include supervised fine-tuning, DPO, CPO, ORPO, GRPO, GSPO, Dr. GRPO, DAPO, online DPO, XPO, KL-regularized RLHF and PPO, plus a method for repairing repetition loops. A custom preference model can also be trained for online preference training. Example notebooks and configuration files for each method live in a separate companion repository.

    github.com

A continual learning language model that trains from scratch on a single 8 GB VRAM GPU, assembling its own architecture and adapting its size to the hardware and data available rather than shipping as a fixed pretrained model.

  • An open-source contrastive-embedding pipeline that maps technical CVE vulnerability descriptions to formal cybersecurity compliance controls in NIST SP 800-53 and CMMC, published with its model generation, fine-tuning and evaluation code.

  • peekaboolean

    github.com

A small vision-language model, fine-tuned with LoRA on a 500-million-parameter backbone, that answers typed multiple-choice, ordinal-score and yes/no questions about an image with calibrated probabilities, in about 400 milliseconds on a laptop.
