mlx4_br

A small Linux driver/module that lets an SR-IOV virtual or physical function from Mellanox CX341, or from Intel X550/X710 NICs, be added to a Linux bridge, for use on OpenWrt or Proxmox VE hosts.

mlx4_br

mlx4_br solves a specific problem: after SR-IOV is enabled on a Mellanox CX341 card, its virtual or physical functions cannot normally be added to a Linux bridge such as br-lan on OpenWrt or a vmbr bridge on Proxmox VE. This module resolves that so the interface can be bridged normally.

It ships as prebuilt packages: an .ipk package installable on OpenWrt with opkg install, and a .deb package installable on Proxmox VE with dpkg -i. The author states it should work on any Linux system in principle, with other systems needing to build it themselves from source.
