# Monolith

A native C++ MCP plugin that gives AI assistants full control of Unreal Engine 5.7/5.8 through a handful of namespace-dispatch tools instead of thousands of individual tool definitions.

Monolith connects AI coding assistants to Unreal Engine through the Model Context Protocol. Rather than registering each of its roughly 1,400 actions as a separate tool, it groups them into about 26 namespaces, each exposed as one dispatch tool such as blueprint_query or material_query, plus a monolith_discover call that lists what is available and a monolith_guide call for self-onboarding.

It covers Blueprints, Materials, Animation, Niagara, Mesh, UI, AI behavior trees and state trees, the Gameplay Ability System, Logic Driver state machines, ComboGraph combo trees, Sound Cues and MetaSounds audio, editor control such as builds and scene capture, offline engine source search, and a reflection layer for architectural decision records, risk hotspots, C++ reflection queries, replication inspection, and PR review composition. It has no Python dependency and ships as a single plugin with one MCP endpoint.
