n8n Hosting

Official hosting configurations for self-hosting the n8n workflow-automation platform, with Kubernetes Helm charts, Docker Compose setups and an AWS ECS Fargate example.

n8n Hosting

n8n Hosting collects official deployment configurations for running n8n, the workflow-automation platform, in various environments. It includes a Helm chart for production Kubernetes deployments, several Docker Compose configurations covering PostgreSQL, queue mode with Redis and a worker, and reverse proxy setups behind SSL or Caddy, and an AWS CloudFormation example for ECS Fargate with multi-main queue mode, RDS PostgreSQL and ElastiCache Redis.

It documents supported and recommended versions for each dependency: PostgreSQL as the recommended production database, SQLite for development or small single-instance setups, Redis or the Redis-compatible Valkey for queue mode, and notes that MySQL/MariaDB support was removed as of n8n v2.0.

It is maintained by the n8n project itself as the authoritative source for self-hosting guidance.
