Neo.mjs

A multi-threaded JavaScript frontend application engine, using an App Worker, VDom Worker, Data Worker and Canvas Worker, built without a build step and paired with a sibling AI agent project.

Neo.mjs

neo.mjs (the Body, in this repository) is a production multi-threaded application engine that splits a web app's work across an App Worker, a VDom Worker, a Data Worker and a Canvas Worker, using SharedWorker, JSON blueprints, object permanence and zero-build native ES modules.

The project's other half, maintained in a sibling repository, is an Agent OS with its own memory core, knowledge base, native edge graph, agent-to-agent coordination and GitHub workflow automation, described as an engineering institution that inspects, builds and reviews the engine in this repository, joined to it through a Neural Link that lets AI agents inspect and mutate a running app's semantic state directly. As of June 2026, the project reports over 900 merged pull requests and 1,100 closed issues.

It is written in JavaScript and released under the MIT license.
