.NET Agent Skills

The .NET team's curated set of portable Agent Skills and host-specific custom agents that help AI coding agents perform .NET and C# development tasks.

.NET Agent Skills

.NET Agent Skills packages skills and MCP servers as portable component types under the Agent Skills and Agent Plugins 1.0 standards. It also ships GitHub Copilot custom-agent files under agents/*.agent.md, and does not currently ship native Codex agent files because Codex plugin installation does not place them in the discovery locations Codex expects.

Its plugins cover general .NET development plus C# language-server integration, advanced and special-scenario .NET skills, data access and Entity Framework, performance and incident diagnostics, MSBuild failure diagnosis and modernization, NuGet package management, framework upgrades, .NET MAUI setup and troubleshooting, AI and ML integration (LLM integration, agentic workflows, RAG, MCP, and classic ML with ML.NET), template-engine scaffolding, and test running, filtering and migration across MSTest, xUnit and VSTest.

It is written in C# and licensed under MIT.

    github.com

A deterministic authorization gateway that sits between an AI agent and its tools, tracing where each parameter of a side-effect call came from, and blocking the call or asking a human when the source does not check out.

  • A markdown framework of system rules that restates Isaac Asimov's Four Laws of Robotics as a set of prioritized loss calculations for large-language-model agents to follow, published as a discovery file for agents and crawlers to read.

  • Vitruvius

    github.com

An engineering research agent that runs a discover, read, synthesize, verify and review loop over technical questions, reading sources directly rather than inferring from titles, and publishing its own scored verifier benchmark, weaknesses included.
